National Highways are carrying out works on the M6 Northbound that will see a full Carriageway Closure put in place between J39 and J40 overnight from 20:00 until 6:00.
National Highways are also carrying out work on the A66 with a full closure overnight for both Eastbound and Westbound traffic between Sandford junction to Brough junction. The full closure on the A66 will also be from 20:00 until 6:00.
Diversion routes will be in operation with the M6 motorway traffic diverted along the A6 between Shap and Penrith.
A66 traffic diversions are via the A1, A69 and M6.
The M6 will also have a full southbound closure between junctions 39 and 40 in place overnight on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 September 2023.
