Police Issue Closure Notice on Penrith Residential Property

Following prolonged and extensive Anti-Social Behaviour, officers from Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team on Monday morning served a Closure Notice on a property on Eden Mount, Penrith. 

The Closure Notice means that for the next 48 hours, only the tenant of the property can remain on the property. Anybody else entering the property will be liable to arrest and prosecution.

Cumbria Police are now seeking a full Closure Order on the property at Magistrates Court, which if approved, will see a complete closure on the property for up to 3 months. Preventing anyone else entering the property or be liable to arrest and prosecution if they do.
