Street Food Saturday is back in Penrith today, with Great Dockray Car Park being transformed into a hub of food, drinks and sweet treats.
Hosted by Penrith BID as part of its summer Saturday events, the popular food event is taking place from 11am until 5pm today, Saturday 22 August.
Visitors can enjoy a wide range of independent food traders and local producers, with something on offer whether you're looking for a quick lunch, a sweet treat, a coffee or something to take home.
Among the traders attending are The Hallo Dandy, Dipheads, Dusty Dogs, Just Greek Penrith, Eskimo Edith, Caffeine Rush, Mac’A’licious, R Street Food, Steffcbakes, Ed’s Massive Ice Cream Shop, Martindale Muscovies, Eat Her Gluten Free Cookies, Sweet Treats by Martin Frickel, Haandi Flavours of Pakistan and ‘Mere Matcha.
The event brings together a mix of street food, desserts, drinks and local produce, giving visitors plenty of choice as they make their way around the stalls.
With the event running until 5pm, there is still plenty of time to head into town and enjoy what Street Food Saturday has to offer.
