Penrith Young Farmers Gearing Up For 5th November Bonfire and Fireworks Display

Remember, Remember the 5th of November - with the season of gunpowder plots and treason almost upon us once again celebrating the famous failed gunpowder plot of Guy Fawkes to blow up Parliament in 1605, Penrith Young Farmers are busy once again plotting their own here in Penrith, although no government buildings will be involved, they assure us!

With no official town bonfire or fireworks events planned in Penrith again this year the Penrith Young Farmers will be holding a bonfire and fireworks display for the town on Wednesday 5th November from 6:30pm that they promise will be even bigger and better than last years event.

The bonfire and fireworks display will take place at the old football field on Inglewood Road with the kind permission of the Threlfell family. The bonfire will be lit at 6:30pm followed by the Fireworks display.

Hot and Cold food and drinks will be on sale and donations on the gate for entry.
