Penrith Beer Festival Evolves: Organisers Announce Relaunch as 'Penrith in the Park' with Super Early Bird Tickets

After several successful years of bringing the community together for the annual Penrith Beer Festival, organisers have announced that the event is undergoing a major transformation. While the traditional beer festival format has reached the end of its journey, a new, more ambitious chapter is set to take place this summer: Penrith in the Park.

The new festival will be held on 26th–27th June 2026 at Frenchfields.

The decision to transition comes as organisers recognised that the previous model was no longer sustainable. Rather than closing permanently, the team is taking the best elements of the beer festival and making them bigger and bolder for a wider audience.

Penrith in the Park will feature, more live music with an expanded stage lineup featuring the local bands and acts the community loves.

For the first time, a full range of entertainment specifically designed for families.

And what would a festival be without its food and the Penrith in the Park will have its very own street food village with a number of local food trailers and vendors along with a refreshed and streamlined bar experience with a wider selection of beverages.

To celebrate the relaunch, organisers have released a limited number of "Super Early Bird" tickets for just £5. This offer is designed to make the event accessible to as many local residents as possible before prices rise to the standard £20 rate.

The Super Early Bird £5 offer must end this Friday. You can but tickets online now via Penrith in the Park tickets

"We've had a good couple of years and it was a joy to see everyone enjoying themselves, but we had to evolve to stay sustainable," said the organisers. "Penrith in the Park is about taking that amazing atmosphere and opening it up to everyone. At just £5 for a ticket this week, we want the whole town to come down to Frenchfields and see what we've built."
