The Northbound entry slip road on J40 will be closed for Bridge Survey work to be carried out by National Highways overnight along with lane closures on the M6 Northbound and Southbound between junction 40 to 41.
The closure of the North Bound slip road onto the M6 from junction 40 will be closed from 9pm this evening (Monday 22nd July) until 6am Tuesday Morning (23rd July).
Traffic will be diverted via Penrith to join the M6 at Junction 41.
