Friday afternoon Congestion on the A66 and M6 around Penrith
The Friday afternoon congestion is building on the A66 at Kemplay Bank Roundabout in both directions.
Reports of queues back to Center Parcs westbound and back down the slip road of J40 onto the M6 southbound.
Routes through Penrith and the A6 through Eamont Bridge are all congested.
Allow extra time for your journey this afternoon if you have to head out around Penrith.
