In a growing exodus from the town centre another Penrith business has closed and is now joining a growing list of vacant properties up to let.
Spirits Of Dawn closed its town centre shop earlier this month moving the business to an online only operation offering the same range of items it had previously stocked in the Devonshire Street shop it opened in November 2022 by partners Dawn Muirhead and Steven Wright.
The Devonshire Street shop is now up to let with Mere Commercial for an annual rent of £14,000 plus business rates and BiD levy. The shop forms part of one of the oldest buildings in Penrith and includes a sales area of 73 sqm, staff welfare area along with a basement that features an old range oven.
Announcing the closure of the shop the business thanked everyone who has supported the business during its 18 months in the town centre.
