A teenager has been arrested by Cumbria Police after an incident in Penrith’s Castle Park, on the 27th October involving a weapon that police have described as a bladed article.
Through CCTV enquiries at several local premises in Penrith and with help from the victims of the incident in Castle Park and Eden PCSOs, a suspect was identified by police.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday the 18th of November on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and suspicion of threatening with a bladed article in a public place.
The 13 year old has since been released on bail while police enquiries continue into the incident.
Police have said the no one was injured during the incident.
