Electricity North West have confirmed they are currently dealing with a power cut effecting around 800 properties in Penrith.
The power outage was first reported at just before 14:25 today initially impacting properties in the CA11 7XU, CA11 7YJ, CA11 7FB, CA11 7AJ, CA11 7YN, CA11 7XR, CA11 7XP, CA11 8ET, CA11 7AG, CA11 7AY, CA11 8JJ, CA11 7NX, CA11 7EL, CA11 7AW, CA11 8JL, CA11 7AB, CA11 7AR, CA11 7XZ postcode areas of Penrith but has now grown with 9 separate power outage reports across Penrith and some villages south of Penrith.
Electricity North West have said they currently engineers onsite and hope to have the power supply restored to affected properties by 20:45 today.
