Police Warning to Learner Drivers and Parents to Check your Driving Instructor is Licensed

Cumbria Police have issued a warning to learner drivers and parents after Police stopped a suspected unlicensed driving instructor giving paid tuition to a learner driver in Penrith on Tuesday morning. Enquiries into situation are still ongoing, but Police are urging learner drivers and parents to urgently check that their current instructor is licensed.

Cumbria Police have said “If you are concerned that your instructor is not licensed - please let us know by email” you can email the local Eden Neighbourhood Policing team at edenneighbourhoodpolicing@cumbria.police.uk
