Police Crack Down on Anti-Social Driving in Penrith New Squares Carpark

Cumbria Police took swift action on Wednesday evening, issuing Traffic Offence Reports to drivers engaging in anti-social behaviour within New Squares car park.

Officers spotted two vehicles being driven in a manner classed as anti-social manner, prompting the immediate issuing of traffic offence reports by the Cumbria Police officers.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said “Drivers should respect local residents, staff and customers at the store by not making excessive noise in the car park and can avoid points on licences by driving and acting appropriately.”
