Police appeal for witnesses following Penrith New Squares incident

Cumbria Police are investigating a collision that occurred in the car park outside of Sainsburys and Premier Inn in Penrith yesterday (April 6) at around 4pm.
The collision involved a MG VS and two pedestrians.
One of the pedestrians a man in his 60s was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary by air ambulance his condition is described as serious but stable.
The other pedestrian a woman in her 50s was taken to Cumberland Infirmary with minor injuries.
The driver of the MG was uninjured.
Cumbria Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision yesterday.
