This Saturday (2nd September 2023) between 10:30am and 3pm Penrith Community Fire Station are opening the doors for the community to come along and enjoy its fundraising day supporting two charities The Firefighters Charity and Great North Air Ambulance.
Alongside the opportunities to use a Firehoses and other equipment plus have a look around some of the Penrith Fire Station appliances. Other organisations that work alongside Cumbria Fire and Rescue services will be taking part in the fundraising day including the Beep Doctors, Police, Ambulance, Blood Bikes and the Great North Air Ambulance Service will also be adding to the array of things to see and do at Penrith Fire Station this Saturday between 10:30am and 3pm.
Activities running through the day also include A kids (and adult's) firefighters fitness challenge, Road Traffic Collision Extrication Demonstration. Plus the chance to win a Blaze Bear competition.
Refreshments will be available along with an Ice Cream Van serving up the 999’s.
A growing list of businesses are also stepping forward to support Penrith Community Fire Stations fundraising day for The Fire Fighters Charity and Great North Air Ambulance Service.
