Following the closing of nominations for candidates in the General Election the returning officer of Cumberland Council has announced the eight candidates that are looking to be MP for the new Penrith and Solway constituency.

Penrith Town will be inviting all candidates to submit a 2-minute video for each candidate introduce themselves and to say why they are seeking to be the areas MP.
Penrith.Town will also be inviting all eight candidates to take part in a Penrith.Town General Election Hustings later this month ahead of polling day giving you the chance to put your questions about issues you want answers to from the candidates seeking to win your vote on July 4th.
