Drug Driver Arrested in Penrith

Police have arrested a female in Penrith for driving under the influence of drugs, acting on information previously provided to the Police, officers stopped a female driver this morning (Tuesday 14th May) who was driving in Penrith along Beacon Edge. 

The driver was arrested after providing police with a positive roadside specimen for Cannabis. 

Cumbria Police said “We rely on information from the public to keep Eden safe. You can report information to Cumbria Police on 101 or via the online reporting facility on our website.”
