Cumbria Young Farmers Keep Penrith’s Weekend of Christmas Events Going with Market and Craft Workshops

Penrith’s Christmas celebrations will plough on this Weekend what ever the weather with the Cumbria Young Farmers following Saturday’s Penrith Sparkle event including this year the Winter Droving parade and Christmas light switch-on, The Cumbria Young Farmers are keeping the Christmas spirit going on Sunday 23rd November with a Christmas Market that will take place from 10am to 3pm at the Penrith Parish Centre on St Andrew’s Place.

The Cumbria Young Farmers promises a great day out for all the family at the Christmas Market featuring a range of craft workshops including wreath making, botanical casting, fragrance and diffuser crafting, and lino carving and printing. It’s an ideal chance to create your own Christmas gifts for friends and family.

Entry is £2 per person, with workshop prices between £20 and £25. Spaces are limited.

To reserve a place, call 07827 920128.

The Christmas Market and workshops will help raise vital funds for the Cumbria Young Farmers to enable them to continue to support the next generation Farmers across Cumbria that manage the land and produce our food after government delivered another blow to the farming community earlier this year by ending funding support after 30 years to the young farmers putting the future of the UK wide young farmers at risk.
