Collaboration to Support Charities Events and Local Community with 1000 Club.

Evolve Penrith and Penrith.Town have teamed up to create the Penrith Town 1000 Club to benefit the local community directly and help support local charities organisations and events that directly benefit Penrith and the local community.

The idea is very simple Make a big difference with small change.

Penrith Town and Evolve Penrith are committed to making a difference to support and benefit and local cause and you have the opportunity to join hands with us in supporting local charities, events and community projects that truly matter to the local community of Penrith. 

How would you like to help local good causes and support local events but be in with the chance to win upto £10,000. That’s what an exciting new Penrith Town 1000 Club is planning to offer with grants awarded to local charities organisations and events that support and benefit the local community decided not by a committee or panel but by the people of Penrith with the launch of the Your Penrith Peoples Participatory Grant Fund.

How does Penrith Town 1000 Club work?

The Penrith Town 1000 Club will cost £1.70 a week for a single number giving the chance of winning a weekly jackpot of £1,000 and a chance of winning one of the annual £10,000 jackpots. Your £1.70 goes towards helping a wide range of organisations, projects and events in Penrith that you will get to decide the grants awarded via our Your Penrith Peoples Participatory Grant Budget pot.

Each Friday our 1000 draw will take place live on Penrith.Town with one number drawn randomly live as the winner of £1000 and a year a special £10,000 jackpot draw will take place with a winner drawn at random live from the 1000 club.

All proceeds after Jackpots and expenses will go into the Your Penrith Peoples Participatory Grant Budget pot and local organisations charities and projects the benefit the local community can apply for grant funding from to local good causes that you the local community will get to vote on the award of grants to.

The first Penrith Town 1000 club draw will be held in April 2024 and you will be able to sign up to be part of the 1000 club from March.

The 1000 club will be operated under the small lotteries licence creating a potential annual grant fund to support the local community of over £20,000 that will directly support potential projects events and charity chosen by you to receive grant funding.
