Brunswick Road and Middle Gate reopened to traffic.

Northern Gas Networks have in the last 10 minutes reopened Brunswick Road and Middlegate to traffic.

Removing the road closures and enabling traffic to once again flow freely around the and through the town.

Traffic was again flowing through middlegate within seconds of the removal of barriers.

The completion of the first stage will see stage two close the top section of Middlegate and Devonshire street until the 5th of February with the closure expected to be put in place in the next 24 hours on this section of road for the continuation of gas mains replacement by Northern Gas Networks.
