The first of the Penrith Town Council Election Results
declarations was the results of the Penrith South ward. The election declared
for the Penrith South ward with three candidates battling it out for two seats
in the ward had a turnout was just 22.2%
The results of the election for Penrith South are:
Burgin Rodger - Liberal Democrat 298
Clark Margaret 154
Smith Danny - Labour Party 159
A total of 433 ballots were cast with 2 papers rejected.
Rodger Burgin and Danny Smith were elected as town councillors
for Penrith South.
Penrith West election results declared.
Penrith West with 3 seats had seen 4 candidates battling it
out for votes but this resulted in a 22.2% turnout at the polls with only 496
votes cast out of an electorate eligible to vote of 2,236.

Jayson, Barbara - Liberal Democrat 271
Knaggs Dave - Labour Party 169
Snell Hillary - Labour Party 172
Thomson Jeff - Independent 246
Elected as Penrith Town Councillors for Penrith West are
Barbara Jayson, Hillary Snell and Jeff Thomson.
Current Penrith Town Council vice chair and deputy Penrith
Town Mayor Dave Knaggs as a result of the Penrith West election has lost his
seat held since 2019 on the town council.
Penrith North election results declared.
Six candidates battled it out for Penrith North wards four
seats on Penrith Town Council.
The turnout was 31.8% with 1083 votes cast the results are:
