Andrew Beatty who founded Greenfields Heat and Power Ltd has been announced as the top heating installer in North West by judges from the industry-leading Heating Installer Awards 2026.
The Penrith-based installer, specialises in renewable heating and full system refurbishments, delivers ground source and air source heat pump installations alongside complete plumbing and underfloor heating systems for domestic properties.
Andrew’s winning entry showcased a full heating system refurbishment for a three-storey, three-bedroom property in the Lake District, undergoing a complete structural rebuild. The project included the installation of a ground source heat pump, extensive ground loops, and underfloor heating across all floors, alongside a cooling module to allow the system to provide cooling during the summer months.
Demonstrating strong technical capability, Andrew worked closely with the builder and client to design and deliver a highly efficient system tailored to the property’s unique layout and changing levels. The installation required ground loops to be installed in a lower field and routed up to the plant room, while also navigating the challenges of a stilted structure and coordinating works across multiple trades.
Speaking of the project, the customer said: “We’re extremely pleased with the outcome. The team kept us informed throughout, and the system has transformed the comfort of our home. It’s exactly what we were hoping for.”

Representatives from the awards’ partners and sponsors Danfoss, Powered Now, Samsung Climate Solutions, Stelrad, the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering,InstallerSHOW and Refresh, as well as a team of previous winning installers, judged the entries on problem solving, product knowledge and stand out work.

The winners will be announced on 24th June 2026 at InstallerSHOW, taking place at Birmingham NEC.
