Two arrested in Town Centre for Drugs Supply Offences.

Officers from the Cumbria Police Penrith Neighbourhood Policing Team on Friday afternoon arrested two males for drugs supply offences in Penrith Town centre.

Officers stopped a vehicle in the town centre and searched the two male occupants, locating a quantity of drugs, cash and mobile phones.

The driver of the vehicle was also arrested by police for failing a roadside drugs test that was carried out.

Cumbria Police have said “Drugs supply and drug driving is not tolerated in our community! Our officers actively pursue, disrupt and prosecute offenders every day!”

In a warning to those Dealing drugs in our community. Cumbria police said, “We'll be seeing you very soon”.
