Town Council Hands Out All Its £40,000 Grant Funding Budget To 15 Organisations

Penrith Town Council has announced that it has now fully allocated its £30,000 Community Grants Scheme and £10,000 Signature Grants Scheme budget for 2024/25 funded through the town councils' annual budget over the year of £581,932 funded by households across Penrith paying the town council precept on their annual council tax.

Through the grants Penrith Town Council has supported fifteen organisations, charities, and community groups with grants to deliver sixteen projects and initiatives.

The Council awarded fourteen grants totalling £30,000 during the 2024/25 financial year through its Community Grants Scheme, which are listed below:
