Three Arrested on Suspicion of Arson after Van Fire on Penrith Housing Estate

Two fire engines were called out on Wednesday night (26th June) just before 23:30 to a van reported to be on fire located on Eden Mount in Penrith. 

On arrival fire crews found a transit van well alight, Two fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus with two hose reel jets worked to extinguish the fire.

Police were also called out to the vehicle fire on Eden Mount to assist the Penrith fire crews.

Two females and a male were arrested on suspicion of Arson and remained in Police custody today assisting officers with their enquires.
