Second New Retail Shop for Carleton Village

Carleton Village is set to see a second new shop to be unveiled in Carleton with plans for another shop submitted to Westmorland and Furness council recently for a separate retail property on Carleton Road a second new retail property is now being marketed in the Carleton due to be completed in early 2024.

The Retail Shop will form part of a large residential development situated in Carleton Village on the eastern outskirts of Penrith as part of the Carleton Meadows development.

Upon completion, the retail shop will occupy the ground floor element of a larger three/four storey residential apartment block and will be located close to a proposed new village hall for Carlton. 

The retail shop is expected to be available in early 2024.

Internally, the shop will be open plan layout in shell condition for tenant fit out, including a fire escape door to a communal stairwell lobby.

It is understood that the premises will provide a ground floor retail area of approximate internal areas 129.00m2 (1,389 sq ft) intended to operate as a standalone retail shop/convenience store to serve the expanding local residential population in Carleton. The shop will have no allocated parking space available the agents have confirmed with shared parking spaces in other parts of the development as the only parking available.

Upon completion expected to be early 2024 the new retail property will be available for lease at a commencing rental of £17,000 per annum.

The property is being marketed by the Windermere office of Edwin Thompson LLP.
