Red Arrows Penrith Fly By on Saturday afternoon

Blackpool Air Show is taking place this weekend, thousands of spectators are expected to travel to Blackpool to watch the aerial displays in the skies. Among the aerial displays on Saturday afternoon at 2.05pm will be the Red Arrows. Flying in their world famous distinctive Red Hawk fast-jets.

In a busy day for the Red Arrows, The squadron will also be preforming a fly past later on Saturday afternoon at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo at 5.15pm.

The two displays will see the Red Arrows flying in the Skies just to the North of a Penrith at 4.52pm as they fly North from Blackpool to Edinburgh.

For the keen spotter the expected Coordinates at 4.52pm North of Penrith are 54 42 00N 002 46 09W this is a point just off Stoneybeck roundabout. 

Subject to weather conditions the Red Arrows should be visible from most of Penrith as they fly North a few minutes before the time given for the Stoneybeck coordinates at 4.52pm.

Rain and possible Thunderstorms are forecast for Saturday locally so cloud cover could hamper visibility.
