Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision which occurred on the A66 near to Kirkby Thore.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:10am on Thursday 7 March 2024.
It is reported a blue BMW failed to stop after colliding with a white Renault Clio resulting in it leaving the carriageway and overturning in a ditch.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was unharmed.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information on the incident is asked to contact police.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone with dash cam footage which may assist the investigation.
