Electricity North West has said that currently 57 properties in Penrith are now without Electricity due to Storm damage.
Properties in postcode areas CA11 8TD, CA11 8SJ, CA11 8SB, CA11 8SH, CA11 8TA, CA11 8TB, CA11 8US, CA11 8BN, CA11 8BJ are currently impacted along with over 7000 properties across the region.
The high wind speed means it is unsafe for teams to climb poles and trees to fix incidents. They will restore customers remotely where they can however it is highly likely the restoration efforts will continue through Monday.
They are currently expect incidents to be restored by 18:00 tomorrow - Monday 22nd January 2024 and will have extra teams available first thing to support with restoration and will work to repair and restore the power as quickly as possible.
