Penrith Drugs Raid Leads to One Arrest and Items Seized

Cumbria Police carried out an early morning drugs raid at a house on Tyne Close Terrace in Penrith on Friday morning with a male in his 30s arrested.

 

Officers assisted by Cumbria Police dog section and tactical support group executed the search warrant under the misuse of drugs act this morning at the three bed property on Tyne Close Terrace, with the assistance of Dot a highly trained springer spaniel, trained to sniff out drugs and paraphernalia used in drug taking. A number of items have been seized from the address.


The male in this 30s was arrested for being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

 

Cumbria Police issued a warning to others involved in the supply of Drugs saying “If you are dealing drugs in our community, we will be seeing you soon.”
