Pedal Power and Scarecrows offer Day of Free Family Fun in Penrith

Penrith town centre will be buzzing with family-friendly fun today (Saturday, 16th July), as a mix of pedal-powered entertainment and community creativity takes centre stage.

The highlight of the day comes from the 3SIXTY Bicycle Display Team, who will be wowing crowds in Great Dockray with three action-packed stunt shows at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. Known across the UK for their daring tricks and balance skills, the riders promise to keep audiences of all ages on the edge of their seats.

For those inspired to get pedalling themselves, a special smoothie bike will be on hand. Visitors can climb aboard and power a blender with their own pedalling, producing a freshly made smoothie to enjoy as a reward for their efforts.

Meanwhile, the streets of Penrith have been brightened by the return of the much-loved Penrith Scarecrow Trail. Residents and local businesses have worked hard to create a colourful cast of scarecrows, all themed around the 1980s. From iconic pop stars to nostalgic TV characters, the displays bring a playful touch of retro charm to the town. You can follow the trail to view the scarecrows and cast a vote for your favourite scarecrow.
