Newton Trailers will host it’s charity Tractor Run and Show tomorrow, Sunday 24th August, with the event raising funds for Prostate Cancer UK and Jigsaw, Eden Valley Hospice.
The event is taking place at Newton Trailer Centre at Newton Reigny, and begins early, with gates opening at 8:00am. Field to Fork, from The Sun Inn in Newton Reigny, will be on site serving breakfast baps from the morning, later moving on to traditional Cumbrian food at lunchtime.
All tractors are expected on the field by 9:00am before the road run departs at 10:00am.
The convoy will return to the Trailer Centre at approximately 1:00pm, when the afternoon programme will continue with a tractor show, competitions, raffle and auction.
Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day at what promises to be family friendly event with free entry to the show for the public.
This year’s show will also feature a special appearance from Reuben Owen and his team, who will be bringing along their tractors to support the fundraising efforts.
