A female has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of cannabis following a roadside drug test on the A6 near to the entrance to Kendal Calling festival.
Police arrested the female on suspicion of driving whilst under the influence of cannabis after stopping the vehicle on the A6 Friday evening.
The woman was arrested after failing a roadside drug test carried out by officers from Eden Neighbourhood Policing team.
Cumbria Police said “We will continue to target those who drive on our roads whilst under the influence of drink or drugs, to make our community a safer place.”
