Do Not Travel North Of Preston Notice from Avanti West Coast.

Avanti West Coast have this afternoon issued a notice to passanger of Do not travel north of Preston today (27 December). 

Heavy rainfall as a result of Storm Gerrit is expected for the remainder of the day impacting the rail network north of Preston. 

Customers with tickets for travel between Preston and Edinburgh/Glasgow can use those for travel on either 28 or 29 December.
