Center Parcs Introduce Changes to arrival Times to Avoid Traffic Congestion with New Staggered Arrival Times

Center Parcs has been forced to make a major change to the way guests arrive at their accommodation after arrival day congestion led to long queues for guests across the five UK Center Parcs sites, the company is now staggering guest arrival times to reduce traffic congestion and queues around its parks.

The change will be implemented on September 29 for all customers, regardless of when they made their booking.

Arrival time will depend on the accommodation type booked, with the more expensive accommodation options getting earlier check-in times.

A Center Parcs spokesperson says: ‘This new approach is designed to create a smoother, more relaxing arrival experience for all guests.

‘By staggering lodge entry times, we are aiming to reduce traffic on the village, minimise queues, improve availability of parking spaces and give guests staying in premium lodges even more time to settle in.’

From 29 September the staggered arrival times based on accommodation type for guests at all UK Center Parcs including Whinfell Forest at Penrith will be:

Treehouses: access from 1pm

Exclusive Lodges: access from 2pm (no change)

Forest Lodges, Hotels & Apartments: access from 3pm

Woodland Lodges: access from 4pm (no change)
