£25010.39 Donated to Children’s Cancer North Charity from Lights for Lucy Tractor Run.

Grand total raised Children’s Cancer North Charity from Lights for Lucy Tractor run held on Sunday the 1st of December, when the roads around Penrith filled with 150 festive tractors taking part in the Lights for Lucy festive tractor run that passed through local villages around Penrith before travelling over Beacon edge and through parts of Penrith before gathering back a Penrith Auction Mart. 

The event was organised by Tom Kirk to raise funds for the Children’s Cancer North Charity in memory of his sister Lucy who passed away in January 2022, having battled leukaemia.

Tom and his family have now revealed the total amount raised by the event and donations after a final count of money and the total is £15010.39 

Tom said “I would like to say a massive Thank you to everyone for your donations and people attending on the night a big Thank you goes to Geoff Brown Charitable Trust for donating £500 and all of the other businesses for donating money and raffle prizes as well”

Tom also revealed that alongside the £15010.39 raised £10000 of that is getting match funded by donors to the Children’s Cancer North Charity bringing the grand total getting donated to children’s cancer north from the Lights for Lucy festive tractor run is £25010.39

Tom added “I wouldn’t of been able to do this without the help from everyone who helped out on the night and before the night. a final big Thank you to everyone”
