Chef (2 Positions Available) - Penrith

£13.50-£15.25 per hour | 8.30am to 5pm | Straight Day Shifts

About the Roles

We're looking for two talented Chefs to join our friendly kitchen team in Penrith. Whether you're an experienced Chef ready to take the lead or a developing Chef looking to build your skills, you'll be part of a team that takes pride in cooking everything from scratch using the best local and seasonal ingredients.

With a menu that changes every three months, you'll have the opportunity to work creatively with fresh produce, learn new techniques, and deliver dishes that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistently high standard
• Work closely with the team to deliver a smooth and efficient service
• Support junior team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
• Follow menu specifications, assist with ordering and stock control when required
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards, completing required records

About You

• Proven experience in a professional kitchen (either as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef)
• A passion for cooking from scratch with fresh, seasonal produce
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• A team player with great communication and a positive attitude
• Enthusiastic about learning, creativity, and consistency

• Competitive hourly rates from £13.50 to £15.25 (depending on experience)
