After three weeks of voting by 3673 people in the 1980’s themed 2025 Penrith Scarecrow Competition the votes have now all been counted and double counted, and we have the winners.
The Penrith.Town team have counted every vote cast, and we can now reveal that in 3rd place with 679 votes is ‘Mr Rubik’ number 8 who was on display on Graham Street.
Taking 2nd Place with 807 votes is ‘Axl Rose’ number 12 who was keeping an eye on the traffic on the junction of Duke Street and Brunswick Square.
And taking 1st Place with 955 votes cast by you is the icon of the 1980’s ‘Super Mario’ number 4 who has been checking the condition of the wall on Drovers Terrace for the last three weeks.
Congratulation to all three and to all who entered with some amazing creative work and displays that attracted a lot of attention and brought a smile to many faces over the summer holiday in Penrith.
