Two Cumbria solicitors firms have announce that they will be merging from the 1st of April. Gaynham King & Mellor Solicitors with offices in Penrith, Appleby and Kirkby Stephen with Bendles Solicitors who have offices in Carlisle, Whitehaven and Wigton on April 1, 2026. The newly merged business will be known as Bendles Solicitors incorporating Gaynham King & Mellor.
The amalgamation brings together the two established Cumbrian firms with shared values, complementary expertise and a joint commitment to delivering high‑quality legal services across the county.
For clients of both firms, it is business as usual. Existing contacts, teams and day‑to‑day services remain unchanged.
