Three Teens arrested following positive stop search in Penrith

Three teens were arrested by Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team on Thursday Night (12th December) after a positive stop search in Penrith town centre.

The three teens, aged 15, 16 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession with intent to supply class C drugs. Officers also seized a quantity of drugs and drugs paraphilia in a subsequent property search.

They have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

Inspector Mo Bibby, Eden NPT said: “Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team continue to listen to concerns from our local community around drugs supply in the area.

“Selling drugs will not be tolerated on our streets and we will continue to be proactive in our approach to identify those responsible.

“I would like to encourage residents to report any concerns around drug dealing in your area to us. We will listen and take action around any reports we receive when needed.”
