Thousand of properties in Communities around Penrith are tonight without power as Stom Isha has taken down powerlines.
Electricity North West are currently estimating power will be restored to some of the effected properties by Monday evening. As the storm continues to impact the area overnight the number of properties without power could grow resulting in delays to supply reconnection.
Currently Electricity North West have no reported power cuts in Penrith. Electrcity North West currently have over 7000 properties without electricity including Skelton, Lanwathby, Yanwath, Eamont Bridge, Hesket, Clifton.
Due to the current storm its unsafe to deploy teams to carry out any repairs so work will not get underway to resort supplies until Monday Morning.
