Tesco Stores Limited has applied to Westmorland and Furness Council for a premises licence for a Tesco Express convenience store in Penrith.
The application was submitted this week to Westmorland and Furness council for a premises licence for the sale of alcohol and provision of late night refreshment until midnight Monday to Sunday, with the Tesco Express opening daily at 6am until Midnight.
Westmorland and Furness Council earlier this year approved plans for the construction of a new convenience store by North Lakes Estates Limited on land at Carleton Hall Farm that the licence application confirms will be a Tesco Express.
