Temporary traffic lights on Ullswater Road likely to remain until Friday

Temporary traffic lights on Ullswater Road at the junction with Castle retail park have throughout today (Tuesday 27th May) created long tailbacks and delays for drivers in Penrith as Electricity North West carries out remedial works to its network.

The three way traffic lights are expected to remain in place until Friday afternoon while work is completed by electricity north west.

Traffic is facing delays as a result of the works, along Ullswater Road, Cromwell road, Brunswick Road and Castlegate.
