Paddington fever has gripped the town since the arrival of Paddington in Penrith clutching his marmalade sandwich as he watches daily life in Penrith pass by from his seat in Little Dockray.
But as Padding gets ready to bring his latest adventure to the big screen on the 8th November In Paddington in Peru, when Paddington goes on his biggest adventure yet all the way back home to the Peruvian jungle! With passports safely stowed, Paddington and The Brown Family jet off to visit Aunt Lucy at the Home for Retired Bears.
Once they arrive in Peru, Paddington and The Browns discover that Aunt Lucy has gone on a quest of her own! To find her, they set off on an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and up Peru's mountain peaks. To solve the mystery of Aunt Lucy's whereabouts, Paddington must become an eagle-eyed explorer, uncovering clues and experiencing new environments.
Into Films have created a resource for schools that inspires the spirit of adventure to engage young explorers with Paddington in Peru.
Adventures with Paddington offers learners a chance to develop essential practical skills, and a space to reflect on embracing new challenges, environments and experiences with a FREE learning sequence that’ll make eager explorers of learners aged 6-12, making links to English/literacy, maths, geography and science. Through a series of travel and exploration-themed activities, pupils will enhance their understanding of our world.
Schools can also enter their young explorers in competition run by Intro Films for a chance to win a private screening of Paddington in Peru and x30 Paddington themed goody bags for their class, plus a bundle of classic Paddington books from HarperCollins Children’s Books for their school!
