If you are looking to have another Saturday filled with fun and sparkle after the Penrith Christmas lights switch on last Saturday, then you're in luck as Kirkby Stephen has a fun filled day planned for this Saturday including a Christmas Tractor parade with over 60 decorated tractors by the Pennine Young Farmers Club taking part.
The day’s events in Kirkby Stephen get underway from 10am on Saturday morning with the tractor parade starting at 5:30pm ahead of the light switch on.

Children's christmas crafting: evangelical church 10am-1pm
Children's christmas stories: throne of books 10am-12pm
Christmas show exhibits: parish church 10.30am-6.30pm
Decorated christmas trees: parish church 10.30am-6.30pm
Christmas in Kirkby Stephen through the years: parish church 10.30-6.30pm trampolines & rides: stoneshot carpark 10am-6.30pm
Facepainting & candyfloss: stoneshot carpark 10am-6.30pm
Hunt the reindeer: various businesses in town: 10am-5pm christmas film poster hunt: various places in town 10am-6pm guess the song/carol of the christmas windows: various 10am-6pm
Christmas fair: the masonic hall nov 25th & 26th 10am-4pm
Santa's grotto & reindeer: church house 2pm-3pm (sold out)
Winter wonderland walk & festive games: marquee, church yard 10.30pm-2pm food, coffee, mulled wine & toy stall in market square 10am-6.30pm live music: the cloisters 4.30pm- 6pm
Lit up tractor parade: leaving the auction mart at 5.30pm
Santa arriving in market square approx. 3.35pm
The lights switch on is at 6pm.

Kirkby Stephen will also have two new businesses opening for the first time on Sat Nov 25th to coincide with the Christmas Celebrations, Eden Animal Rescue and Throne Of Books will be joining the town’s high street.
You can hop on the 563 Bus from Penrith to Kirkby Stephen on Saturday, a bus service funded by Penrith Town Council and Kirkby Stephen Town a council the last bus back to Penrith from Kirkby Stephen departs at 18:16 just after the lights are switched on at 6pm.
