The Leo Group who operate the Penrith Omega Proteins site have issued a notice in the last hour to the local community that they are currently experiencing a power outage at the Penrith Omega Proteins site.
Electricity Northwest has informed Omega that this is due to a suspected damaged cable supplying the local area which the company have said is out of their control.
A spokes person for the Leo Group said “All efforts are being made to deal with this as quickly as possible.”
The company is currently waiting on Electricity Northwest to provide an update on the issue and a time scale for this to be resolved.
