Penrith Town Council By Election is taking place today (Thursday 27th March) with Four Candidates standing for the vacant seat for Penrith East created after the former Town Councillor Dave Knaggs resigned from the town council in January.
The four candidates are:
ANDREWS, Tallis Mary Isabella – Standing as an Independent Candidate
DIPPITA, Vivo - The Labour Party Candidate
KELLEY, Ron - Liberal Democrats
LANG, Treena – ReformUK
The polling station at the St Andrew’s Parish Centre opened at 7am for voters in the Penrith East ward to cast their votes and will be open until 10pm this evening.
Counting of the votes cast today along with postal votes will take place this evening with results expected around midnight.
