The driver of a modified car driving in an anti-social manner in Penrith at the New Squares multi-storey car park has been stopped by officers from the Eden neighbourhood police team on Friday evening following complaints from residents.
Police said they had received reports of anti-social driving issues at the Sainsbury's New Squares multi-storey car park from residents in the area.
Two officers patrolling the area and saw a modified car wheel spinning, making excessive noise and driving without due care and attention.
A spokesperson from Cumbria police said: "The driver has been reported for driving without due care and attention, making excessive noise, 2 licence plates not forming to regulations and issued with a Section 59 police reform act warning.
If the driver or the vehicle is seen driving in an anti-social manner again, police have said they will uplift the vehicle.
