Police are investigating an assault which occurred on 17 March at approximately 2:42am outside of The Pinney, Penrith.
The incident is reported to have involved four people including the victim. A 48-year-old man from Penrith who sustained head injuries.
Another 42-year-old man from Penrith was arrested on suspicion of GBH and has been released on bail.
Officers are looking to identify the other males involved, one of the males is described as wearing a white shirt and a flat cap.
