Police are investigating an assault on the A66 westbound, near Troutbeck, between Penrith and Keswick that happened at about 2.50pm on Saturday October 12.
A man hit another man in the face and kicked the victim’s car wing mirror off.
The victim sustained cuts to his hands during the incident.
