Police Deal with Pair that Parked Outside Penrith Police Station to Smoke Drugs

Monday has been another busy day for members of the Eden Neighbourhood Police team, but today officers did not have far to travel as one case drove to their front door.

A male had been sitting in a car smoking cannabis outside of Hunter Lane Police Station today (Monday 27th January)

An officer from the Eden Neighbourhood Police team having observed the vehicle carried out a stop and searched of the occupants and the vehicle resulting in the recovery of Cannabis from the vehicle.

Police have said “The male was totally surprised when Eden NPT officer stop and searched him and the vehicle.” Following the search and discovery of Cannabis police said “the two occupants dealt with appropriately”.
